As a student of the spiritual and non-physical reality, the seven chakras was one of the first systems I was introduced. However, some 15 years later, I have only now been able to truly understand how this invisible energy system actually works.
One of the meditations I have found the most successful is a chakra meditation in which you place your left hand on your root chakra, take 3 breathes in and out, then place your right hand on the next chakra, repeating and alternating hands. I do this while in the shower or if I am lucky to have 5 or 10 minutes, I’ll listen to this Solfeggio Frequencies track.
As the daily news continues giving us reasons to be nervous and worried, anxious and afraid, angry and confused, how are you doing in this struggle between fear and love? We know what fear looks like, and we know we have to rise above life-destroying fear and seek life-affirming love. Each of us has the power to choose and use the unlimited energy of love available from our Divine Source. Take a look within. Is your connection to your loving Source clear and open? Is the energy of your love at the ready, flowing and powering your mind, body, and spirit? For the challenges we face, taking good care of your personal energy centers, your chakras, can help you fight fear.
Your Chakra Power
As invisible but vital energy centers, your chakras are designed to move energy between your personal field and the universal field. Your wellbeing depends on the energy you bring in, and your life of joy, fulfillment, and service depends on the energy you give out. Love can’t reign when fear is blocking the channels. When clear and balanced, your chakras are the means by which you replenish your energy and maintain your health. Without the healthy flow of energy through your chakras, you might feel empty, depressed, and powerless. Each chakra represents an aspect of higher consciousness that is essential to your life. As a system, the seven basic chakras integrate your mind, body, and spirit; and each has a physical, emotional, creative, and spiritual component.
Your Chakra Gifts
Each of your chakra centers is important because each one allows you to call forth different skills and strengths and bring them into the world. Keeping your chakras clear and balanced allows you to access your highest gifts and talents—those powerful energies that are your contribution to the world! Here are some of the ways your chakras affect your life:
First Chakra – This foundational chakra located at the base of your spine keeps you grounded and rooted, firm and secure in the world. However, fear of destructive events like those we are experiencing in our world today combined with personal fears about safety, security, and stability can disrupt or distort the free flow of energy in the first chakra. Taking a walk in the beauty of nature, actually touching the earth with your bare feet, can bring you back to the foundation of your being, make you feel present and safe, and strengthen your first chakra.
Second Chakra – Located about half way between the base of your spine and your navel, the second or sexual chakra is the center of your emotions and desires, and your interactions with other people. In the work of moving away from fear and toward love, a balanced second chakra is vital to helping you enjoy healthy intimate relationships and overcome feelings of guilt and shame that may interfere. Bathing in the ocean or a bath of sea salt and baking soda strengthens your second chakra as it restores you to the purity of your true nature.
Third Chakra – Located at the solar plexus and the center of your body’s metabolic fire, the third chakra is the seat of personal power. This primary power center is the source of will, purpose, and action—that which “moves” you in the world. If managing your energy in a healthy way to reach your goals and fulfill your purpose is a challenge, you may need to devote some loving attention to your third chakra. Physical activities such as gardening, sports, T’ai Chi, Yoga, and Pilates can awaken and recharge this energy center, especially if performed outside in the early morning sun.
Fourth Chakra – The fourth or heart chakra is the bridge between the three lower chakras that connect you to the earth and the three upper chakras that connect you to the Infinite. When the heart center is in balance, you are content, caring, compassionate and forgiving. Heart chakra balance gives you the courage to give and receive love even when fear and anger threaten to close you down. How precious is an open and compassionate heart in today’s world! One of the best ways to boost your heart chakra is by giving and receiving love with a pet. Animals are great role models for the unconditional love that heals us.
Fifth Chakra – When fifth or throat chakra energy is free-flowing and balanced, you are free to speak your truth. You are empowered to express who you are, what you feel, and what you believe. Speaking for your beliefs and your truth is essential for you to express the love that can overcome fear in the world today. Writing down your feelings with total honesty can help clear and charge your fifth chakra. Take time to use your “voice” to write, sing, read aloud, and communicate your true feelings.
Sixth Chakra – The sixth chakra or “third eye,” located between the eyebrows, is the source of intuition. When balanced, this chakra helps you keep an open-mind and have faith in your inner guidance. It supports your sense of the interconnection of all humanity and helps you seek the truth in any situation. When this chakra is out of balance, you may feel out of touch with your intuition and struggle with fear-based negative thinking and narrow-mindedness. Daily meditation helps you awaken this chakra and lets you increase your inner wisdom and your ability to “see” clearly.
Seventh Chakra – The seventh energy center or “crown chakra” is located at the top of the head. This is your connection with spirit, your higher power, and the universe. Opening outward and upward, this chakra draws light energy in from above and fills you with an experience of transcendence. Meditation, prayer, and communion with nature are powerful tools for boosting the seventh chakra. Keeping this connection free-flowing, balanced, and clear is your key to bringing all-powerful love into our world.
Working to take care of your chakra energy centers is simply making sure that you have access to all the powers, the gifts, the talents, the energy and the light that is you. Get ready to share your gifts, to move forward in love, to inspire and encourage others, and to live a life of love and joy.
To others, spirit guides represent parts of our unconscious minds that symbolically help us to find wholeness. And still, to other people, spirit guides are parts of our higher selves that reveal themselves to us in various shapes and forms.
No matter what you think of spirit guides, and no matter how “new age” or “down-to-earth” your understanding is, it is beyond doubt that we all need guidance, direction and support in life beyond our own capabilities, or those who surround us.
Spirit guides, like many other elements of spirituality, have been heavily sullied, monetized and commercialized both on the internet and in real life, but despite the apparent tarnishing of their value, spirit guides are nevertheless a shared human experience.
Spirit guides are often thought as spirits that guide us, but in my experience with them, they are universal forces that guide our spirits to greater clarity, freedom, joy, and peace.
If you are just beginning your journey of connecting with your spirit guide, keep reading.
What Are Spirit Guides
Our spirit guides are universal forces that are here to help us. A spirit guide can be an angel, animal, mythical creature, ancestor, ancient god or goddess, otherworldly entity, or interdimensional being.
At the most basic level, a spirit guide is a type of energy that is embodied in an array of different forms. Spirit guides are archetypal forces; aspects of life which teach, warn, support, comfort, remind and reveal things that we need to learn about ourselves in order to grow.
Do spirit guides actually exist on another dimension? Or are they all inside the mind? Here’s the thing: I can’t answer that for you. It’s one of the great mysteries of life! Only you can decide that for yourself.
You might also be wondering whether we have many spirit guides or just one?
Personally, I divide spirit guides into two categories: our major guides, and our minor guides. Major guides typically accompany us throughout our lives and help us to learn major life lessons. Minor guides are temporary and help with daily concerns or issues that we struggle with.
In other words, yes, I believe we have multiple spirit guides. Some we are born with, others visit us sporadically during the course of life.
My Experience With Spirit Guides
Okay, I’ve got to admit: by nature, I’m a skeptical person.
I don’t like believing something unless I’m practically hit in the face with it. Evidence has to basically be falling down from the sky and crushing me flat until I relent and open my eyes.
Until about four years ago, spirit guides were just new age mumbo jumbo to me. I ignorantly assigned them to the crystal healing and fortune telling category. In essence, I judged and dismissed that which I had not yet experienced. (Hey, aren’t we all guilty of that?)
So it was with great shock and awe that I came across my first spirit guide. This experience happened on a series of shamanic trips I shared with my partner Mateo. I went into the experience with my mind half open, and half closed from disbelief. “Will this actually work?” a part of me wondered.
But holding the intention to meet my spirit guide strongly in mind, I eventually met him – Pan, the god of the wild places. For thirty minutes or more I saw this half-man half-goat guide me down into my inner Underworld. It was Pan that initiated me into my Shadow Work journey. But it didn’t just stop there, through the next coming years, I continued to see Pan every so often in daily life and in my dreams. Not only that, but I continued to meet more spirit guides. The floodgates had been opened!
If you are dubious about the existence of spirit guides like I was, I encourage you to at least try it before you brush it off. Acknowledge the possibility that you might be wrong. Allow a margin of error. On the other hand, if you believe in the existence of spirit guides – if you have had direct experience with them, but seek a stronger connection – you will find some helpful advice below.
7 Types of Spirit Guides
Right now, it seems to be a common trend to believe that spirit guides are primarily animals or angelic beings – but this is only one small dimension of the many possibilities that exist out there.
Spirit guides, I believe, can have unlimited shapes and forms. A spirit guide could just as easily be a soft gust of air that makes the hairs on your arm stand up, as it could be a full-blown godly being that you meet during a shamanic journey.
There are so many possibilities out there, and below I will break down the main “types,” “species” or forms of spirit guides which you might encounter on your path. Remember, you can have more than one, and most people often do!
1. Half Man Half Beast (Trans-Species)
Many spirit guides manifest themselves as half man/woman and half animal. Examples include centaurs, fauns, harpies, mermaids, sphinxes, fairies, and minotaurs. Many deities also appear as spirit guides, for instance, Anubis (jackal-headed Egyptian god), Ganesha (elephant-headed Indian god), Ra (falcon head, human body), etc. The first ever spirit guide that I personally made contact with was Pan, a half man half goat entity, who “revealed” to me my own personal shadow self and the need for me to embark on a journey of healing my core wounds.
Animals are well-known spirit guides and have gained a lot of popularity over the past few years, perhaps thanks to their accessibility in our everyday lives. Some ancient cultures, such as the indigenous Americans and Chinese, held animals as sacred representations of their tribes or lineages. These days, animals come to represent and reflect a person’s own inner yearnings and needs, moving from group use to more personal and individual use in this day and age. I wrote an article on animal spirit guides here.
3. Light Beings
Many people describe “light beings” (also commonly known as guardian angels), as being their spirit guides. Light beings are said to help people move through traumatic areas of life such as death, loss, and grief. Light beings are called such because of their tendency to appear bright, glowing or full of light.
Ancestral guides are entities that have some kind of blood connection to us and our lineage. An ancestral guide could be a recently deceased member of your family (mother, father, aunt, grandfather), or a long-dead relative that you have perhaps never met in your lifetime. When I have done shamanic journeying in the past, I have connected with what I consider my ancestors. To me, they appeared as shadowy beings that felt distinctly familiar. They taught me that although I felt alone and isolated in my current family, I am part of something vastly larger. The messages that our ancestors bring can be beautiful and life-changing.
Shamans believe that the world and everything in it is composed of vibrant, living energy. This includes plants. Ayahuasca – a psychoactive brew that is made out of a vine commonly found in Peru – is one of the most well-known ways of getting in touch with the spirits of nature. Interestingly the Banisteriopsis Caapi (Ayahuasca) vine is known as “the vine of the souls,” and it is common for all those taking it to feel guided by the plant into the realms of inner and outer existence. The same can be said for many other psychoactive (and non-psychoactive plants). Plants can either be symbolic, like in pagan traditions that associate certain qualities with certain plants, or experiential, where ingesting the plant stimulates mental, physical, and emotional expansion.
6. Gods and Goddesses
Gods and goddesses have been worshiped, feared and written about since the dawn of time. They span across every culture, every tradition, every religion and every part of the world. Common gods and goddesses that serve as spirit guides include Athena, Quan Yin, Apollo, Lakshmi, Lugh, Kali, Hathor, Horus, The Green Man, and Selene.
7. Ascended Masters
Ascended masters are beings that have already lived on this earth but have become enlightened, awakened or have transcended the cycle of reincarnation. Thus, ascended masters represent the ultimate teachers and gateways to the divine. It is said that ascended masters, like all spirit guides, teach all people who call on them (not just you) to achieve greater wholeness and harmony in life. Common examples include Krishna, Jesus, Confucius, Kuthumi, Melchizedek, Mary the Mother of Jesus, Babaji, Gautama Buddha, and many others.
9 Ways to Connect With Your Spirit Guides
This article is not about invoking spirit guides, as in calling on a guide who you believe will help you. Instead, this article focuses on how to reveal the spirit guides who have already been assigned to you and your life.
With that said, here are some different ways to connect with your guides:
Scrying is the ancient divinatory practice of gazing into a reflective surface, such as water, mirrors, or crystal balls to receive esoteric information. From a psychological perspective, scrying helps you to get in touch with your unconscious mind and the important guidance which may be locked away within it.
Scrying is, however, something that must be practiced consistently – it is not easy. But if you are a visually-based person (i.e. one who receives insight through pictures, also known as clairvoyance), it is worth committing to. In order to connect with your spirit guide via scrying, set an intention to ‘see’ your guide. You may like to say a mantra or prayer to communicate with your guide your desire to meet them. Read more about scrying.
2. Dream Work
Just before going to bed, set the intention to see, meet, or speak with your spirit guide within your dreams. Continue this practice for two weeks and see what happens. When you wake up, note any strange figures or unusual patterns that emerge in your dream. The goal is to find repetition: what messages or dream beings keep appearing?
Sometimes our spirit guides don’t directly reveal themselves, but instead symbolically reveal who they are to us. Take note of symbols that keep emerging and journal about them. What do they mean? Once you have a strong inkling of who/what your guide is, thank them. Continue to ask for guidance and for their appearance in your dreams before going to bed. Practicing lucid dreaming is also a powerful way to contact your spirit guides.
3. Silence Your Mind
One of the best ways to contact your spirit guides is by silencing your mind through practices such as meditation or mindfulness. Here is one simple practice:
Sit or lie down in a quiet place that is undisturbed by other people. Focus on your back or thighs as they come in contact with the ground. Notice the rising and falling of your chest. Listen to the sounds around you. Focus on being present in the Now. If you have raging thoughts, jump up and down for a little bit (to expel the frantic energy from your body), then resume your meditation. Let your thoughts become like a stream. Sit down and watch that stream as a silent observer. Don’t try to fight these thoughts, just let them flow. When you feel ready, ask to hear the name or see the face of your spirit guide. You might need to wait for a while, so be patient. Let go of expectations (they will block what you are about to receive).
Journal about your experiences afterward. If you struggle with this practice, don’t worry. Most people do. Just practice it for 10 minutes a day, and see what happens.
Bibliomancy is the practice of seeking spiritual insight by opening a book at a random place. This form of divination was popular in the middle ages, but it continues to be an interesting way of gaining guidance. Here is how to use bibliomancy to connect with your spirit guides:
Go to your personal library or collection of books. (Alternatively, if you don’t have any, go to a local library.) Stand in front of the books and close your eyes. Ask to be drawn to a specific book that will help reveal your spirit guide. I encourage closing your eyes as you do this so that you aren’t influenced by bias. Let your inner feelings guide you. When you feel a pull, run your hands over the bookcase or pile of books. Pick the book you feel most drawn to (remember to keep your eyes shut!). Then, either open the book at random and quickly look at the page, or wait for a page number to pop into your mind. Read what is in front of you.
Sometimes bibliomancy takes practice because it requires you to have a strong connection to your intuition. Other times, you won’t receive a direct response, but will instead receive a clue. Remember, spirit guides are powerful beings with their own personalities. Calling on them will not necessarily make them want to reveal themselves to you straight away. Often, by concealing themselves and making you work to discover them, you learn important lessons along the way.
One relatively simple way of contacting your spirit guides is through visualization. There are quite a few spirit guide visualizations already out there on the internet which you might like to try out. You might even like to create your own visualization by listening to soothing music and imagining that you are walking down dark a staircase into a white room. Remember to always set an intention for your visualization. In this case, it would be, “I wish to connect with my spirit guide” or similar.
6. Plant medicine journeying
OK, a word of warning. This is not a lukewarm approach – and it certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted. If you are serious about connecting with your guides, I highly recommend shamanic journeying with plant medicines such as ayahuasca, psilocybin mushrooms, and mescaline with trusted healers or shamans. Even marijuana, in the right ceremonial setting, can open a doorway into the ‘other side.’
Please note that journeying with sacred plant medicine doesn’t always bring what you want – it brings what you need. So while you may have the intention to meet your spirit guides, you might instead be tossed into a cosmic inner-space voyage or a subterranean sacred geometrical ego-death experience. It all depends on you and the medicine you need right now. (Note: please ensure you are mentally balanced before entering these trips.)
No, I’m not referring to a genre of music. I’m referring to a state of mind, as in, a half-conscious state. You know that strange mental space you enter before you go to sleep (technically called the hypnogogic state)? That is the state we’re aiming for. When you are in a trance, your mind is open and receptive. It no longer has the typical filters of conscious waking reality. As such, this state is perfect for connecting with your spirit guides.
Many ancient cultures used trance to ‘connect with the gods.’ Different ways of entering trance include self-hypnosis, various breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, watching a pendulum, visualization, drumming, and dancing. Read our article on inducing trance for more guidance.
8. Nature Immersion
When you take the time to look and pay attention, nature is sublimely magical. It is also a beautiful place to come in contact with your spirit guides (particularly animal spirits and trans-species beings).
Find someplace outside. Sit in a park, by a river or stream, or go hiking. Look at the clouds, bodies of water, and trees. Can you glimpse any faces? What animals keep appearing that have seemed to accompany you for a while?
Just the other week I was staring at the clouds. Out of nowhere, one particular cloud morphed into the face of Pan. I interpreted this as a clear reminder of his constant presence in my life. And yes, while this could have been a product of my imagination, the very fact that I interpreted the cloud as showing the face of Pan speaks a lot about my personal unconscious.
9. Look For Synchronicity
Synchronicity is another word for meaningful coincidence. Have you ever seen repetitive numbers (such as 3333, 1111, 1212), names, or symbols arise in your life? Pay attention. These often carry important messages.
In order to use the synchronicity technique for contacting your spirit guides, set an intention. I set intentions by saying prayers. Here is an example, “Dear Spirit, if it is your will, please help me discover my spirit guides. Please send me signs each day that I can understand. Thank you.”
Every day, look out for unusual and repetitious signs, names, symbols, places, or objects that appear. Keep a notebook and record your observations. After one week, reflect on what you have seen. Are you been shown something? Synchronicity works best when we are in touch with our inner selves so ensure that you are practicing mindful awareness.
What is the difference between the mind and the ego? The ego could be described as a movement of thought in the mind that has a limited perception of reality, it actually clouds it completely. It’s the false sense of self.
When the identification to that false self vanishes (through experiences of spiritual awakening and self inquiry), then Spirit (our true nature) uses the mind instead and that’s when inspired thoughts happen for example.
That’s when we experience that we are not the doers in life, but that which the actions are being done through.
When the mind is used by ego (will-power; “I want this, I don’t want that” etc) there’s strain and struggle, suffering and frustration, and an occasional moment of accomplishments and happiness, but it is always shallow and fleeting, the ego is never satisfied with the present moment, even if it is really great, it always want more, so there’s always a sense of unsatisfactory present, even if it’s very subtle.
There’s never really true presence in the Now-moment, because the mind is always projecting.
It’s always on the search for more experiences, more success, more happiness, more more more. The ego looks for completeness outside, in the world, oblivious of the true reality that already is complete in itself. Nothing needs to be added to the true self.
When the mind is used by consciousness there’s flow and natural unfolding, spontaneousness (if that’s a word) and we are grounded in the here and now without projecting into the future (which doesn’t exist) or doing anything for the sake of getting somewhere; things just happen and they happen naturally.
We in turn respond to the movement of Life that moves through and as us by listening to our intuitive knowing in every moment.
If things needs to get done they will, but there will be no figuring out and planning and plotting involved in the way that the ego does things.
Actions happens as a direct result of us responding to the intuitive knowing, and they happen simultaneously.
We no longer go to our minds for a second opinion but are instead trusting our intuition and going with it, without the need to understand why it leads us in a certain direction.
The ego-mind divides and makes everything and ourselves as separate from the One/divine consciousness; there’s a sense of being a person who lives in a world and they are separate.
So that belief (or any beliefs for that matter) is what keeps us in bondage of the ego, but when realization happens, the veil is lifted and the mind is freed to be used by Spirit.
All beliefs crumble and we see very clearly that none of them are valid or true in any way.
It’s the identification that changes, and we see clearly that ego is only a movement of thoughts and beliefs in the mind and nothing more. Now thoughts can come and go, but we don’t get stuck in them.
We know they are not the Truth, so they are allowed to come and go, and by the allowing of that, peace and stillness is present where there before were strings of endless thoughts that we believed in an got attached to.
The ego might still be there after a clear seeing into who we really are, but we see it as it is (an illusion) and our identity is no longer attached to it; we have realized we are not the person we thought we were.
Revolution and the artist go hand in hand. One cannot exist without the other. From street art to music, we are motivated and inspired to think outside the box, to organize and protest, to unite with each other and the planet.
Our latest documentary project (which is the continuation of the visual style and format created in the first Time is Art film) is centered around the power of music as a tool to uplift, motivate and wake people up. This time around, the artist and lyricist, Omboy Rome is our mirror to guide us through the process of self-transformation.
After many years of filming and envisioning the second film, we cut together a short promo to excite the artist inside of you. We have also launched a patreon so please become a patron and support this inspiring film for as little as $1 per month.
And if you haven’t found Jesus maybe you found Dr. John. Start your new year off with his song “Revolution” which is a good example of how music reminds us of what’s really going on in the world. France is currently involved in a revolution to oust another fascist leader and of course the media is censoring their true message. The question posed in this song and what we need to ask ourselves, is what will it take for us to revolt against such insane corruption (just a small example; the creation and sale of arms that are destroying families and our environment all over the world.)
Blind eyes of justice, deaf ears of power
Dumb lose our money
Left us in a desperate hour
Driving me out of my sanity
Is it the final solution?
Final Solution!Angels surrender, killed in their tracks
Babies, women raped
Leaders on their backs
Prepare your Revolution
Is this the final solution?
The roots of man’s insanity
The truth of wars inhumanity
Let’s all just pray on it right now…
Brother the warpath
Is painted with liberty
Have we lost our constitution?
Is this the final solution?
A rebellious revolution
Is this the final solution?
Of course you can’t talk about revolution and the artist without…

Books, more books and even more books! Some of authors of these books inspired the film also appear in Time is Art, while others continue to inform and transform this ongoing documentary series. Topics include synchronicity, consciousness, morphic fields, symbology, crop circles, the Maya, art, our relationship to plants, cosmic cycles and history and much more.
This is the extraordinary book that initiated the Harmonic Convergence in August 1987 and awakened the world to the Mayan Calendar. In it, Jose Arguelles revealed three revolutionary ideas: that a great moment of human transformation awaited us as we approached 2012: that there are galactic “seasons” and that the Maya accurately recorded them; and that each person had the capability to connect directly with the energy of a beam emanating from the galactic center that contains the power to awaken the higher mind. Also inspired the film, Time is Art. More Info
Cosmos and Psyche by Richard Tarnas
From a philosopher whose magisterial history of Western thought was praised by Joseph Campbell and Huston Smith comes a brilliant book that traces the connection between cosmic cycles and archetypal patterns of human experience. Drawing on years of research and on thinkers from Plato to Jung, Richard Tarnas explores the planetary correlations of epochal events like the French Revolution, the two world wars, and September 11. Whether read as astrology updated for the quantum age or as a contemporary classic of spirituality, Cosmos and Psyche is a work of immense sophistication, deep learning, and lasting importance. Richard Tarnas appears in Time is Art. More info>

Sparked by their curiosity, thousands of people have contributed to the study of Crop Circles around the world. Amongst the many who have contributed to the investigation of this phenomenon there are very few who would claim to have found the answer to its mystery. I am proud to count myself among them. This work is an attempt–only–to sketch a framework for deeper consideration of the question of Crop Circles. If you are looking for an answer, or a solution to this phenomenon’s riddle, best to look elsewhere. At best, I hope to offer only a direction, a route by which to begin tracking something very elusive (yet that seemingly wants us to follow it). For all those who have engaged with this phenomenon for some time, it is a source of deepening wonder and it is to that experience that you are invited. By Gary Bobroff (appears in Time is Art). Science Set Free by Rupert Sheldrake
Why do many phenomena defy the explanations of conventional biology and physics? For instance, when laboratory rats in one place have learned how to navigate a new maze, why do rats elsewhere in the world seem to learn it more easily? Rupert Sheldrake describes this process as morphic resonance: the past forms and behaviors of organisms, he argues, influence organisms in the present through direct connections across time and space. Calling into question many of our fundamental concepts about life and consciousness, Sheldrake (appears in Time is Art) reinterprets the regularities of nature as being more like habits than immutable laws. Man and His Symbols by Carl Jung
Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist, an influential thinker and the founder of analytical psychology (also known as Jungian psychology). Jung’s radical approach to psychology has been influential in the field of depth psychology and in counter-cultural movements across the globe. Jung is considered as the first modern psychologist to state that the human psyche is “by nature religious” and to explore it in depth. His many major works include “Analytic Psychology: Its Theory and Practice,” “Man and His Symbols,” “Memories, Dreams, Reflections,” “The Collected Works of Carl G. Jung,” and “The Red Book.”
Synchronicity by Carl Jung
Jung was intrigued from early in his career with coincidences, especially those surprising juxtapositions that scientific rationality could not adequately explain. He discussed these ideas with Albert Einstein before World War I, but first used the term “synchronicity” in a 1930 lecture, in reference to the unusual psychological insights generated from consulting the I Ching. A long correspondence and friendship with the Nobel Prize-winning physicist Wolfgang Pauli stimulated a final, mature statement of Jung’s thinking on synchronicity, originally published in 1952 and reproduced here. Together with a wealth of historical and contemporary material, this essay describes an astrological experiment Jung conducted to test his theory. Synchronicity reveals the full extent of Jung’s research into a wide range of psychic phenomena.

Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse by Dr. Leonard Horowitz
The Solfeggio frequencies were essentially rediscovered in the mid-1970’s by Dr. Joseph Puleo, a physician and one of America’s leading herbalists. Dr. Puleo claimed to have been intuitively guided to examine the Book of Numbers (4th book of the Hebrew Bible and 4th of five books of the Jewish Torah). In Chapter 7 of the Book, between Verses 12 and 83, Dr. Puleo used a Pythagorean method of reducing to the verse numbers and uncovered a pattern of six repeating codes. The Love frequency, 528 Hz is part of the six sacred Solfeggio tones, core creative frequencies of the Universe.

The human energy field is an aura of etheric energy that surrounds and overlays our physical selves and interacts with our mind body and spirit.
There are many human energy fields. These include the physically measurable electromagnetic and magnetic fields generated by all living cells, tissues, and organs, and the body as a whole. But there are also biofields—subtle or putative fields emanating from these pulsing units of life— as well as our subtle energy bodies, channels, and aspects of self. Here are brief descriptions of the most important human biofields.
In biology, a morphogenetic field is a group of cells that leads to specific body structures or organs. For example, a cardiac field becomes heart tissue. Scientist Rupert Sheldrake, (who appears in Time is Art + bonus scenes) in the early 1980s, was the first to label a learning field that instructs the scientifically recognized ones, calling them the energetic or subtle morphogenetic or morphic fields.
Sheldrake suggested that there is an energy field within and around a morphic unit— the physical developmental unit of what later becomes a tissue or organ—that forms it. All living organisms—from cells to people—that belong to a certain group tune in to the morphic field and through morphic resonance develop according to the programs within that field. Resonance only occurs between forms that are similar, so a monkey would not take on the characteristics of a plant. According to Sheldrake, these energy fields serve as a database as well as a mental form.
Sheldrake’s theory seeks to explain why members of a family pass down certain behaviors and even emotions and why species might share common characteristics and developmental patterns. Various studies have also shown that even when separated, members of certain species acquire similar traits or behaviors, a puzzle that can be explained by morphogenetic fields. Subtle in nature, they are not limited to time or space. This theory would portray DNA as the recipient of information from human energy fields through the subtle body, which instructs it to act in certain ways.
Grandpa’s musical gifts might be then carried on to grandson via morphic fields rather than DNA. Morphic energy fields may instruct the epigenetic makeup, the chemical storage houses.
Sheldrake’s philosophy also holds that past life memories could pass from lifetime to lifetime through a soul’s morphic energy field. These memories would be nonlocal in nature and therefore not anchored in the brain or a particular life.
The word etheric is often used as a substitute for the terms subtle body or aura. There are actually independent etheric fields around every vibrating unit of life, from a cell to a plant to a person, as well as a specific etheric field that is connected to the body, as described under “Special Human Energy Fields” below.
The term etheric is a derivative from the word ether, which has been considered a medium that permeates space, transmitting transverse waves of energy.
When associated with the entirety of the auric field, it surrounds the whole body, hence why it’s a pivotal part of the human energy field.
As a separate energy body, which is a more substantial and popular view, the etheric body links the physical body with other subtle bodies serving as a matrix for physical growth. As Barbara Brennan, a contemporary expert on the aura, suggests, this human energy field therefore exists before the cells grow. Lawrence and Phoebe Bendit say the same of the auric field, asserting that it permeates every particle of the body and acts as a matrix for it.
Dr. Kim Bonghan links the etheric body and the meridians, suggesting that the meridians are an interface between the etheric human energy field and the physical body. The etheric body creates the meridians, which in turn form the physical body.
Special Energy Fields
There are many different biofields that regulate various mental, emotional, spiritual, or physical functions and these correspond to various parts of the subtle body. The following list of biofields is based on the work of Barbara Ann Brennan and others.
The layers of the auric field, as described by barbara ann brennan and according to the twelve-chakra system.
Physical field: Lowest in frequency. Regulates the human body. Etheric field: Blueprint for the physical structure that it surrounds. There is also an etheric human energy field for the soul. Emotional field: Regulates the emotional state of the organism. Mental field: Processes ideas, thoughts, and beliefs. Astral field: A nexus between the physical and spiritual realms. Free of time and space. Etheric template: Exists only on the spiritual plane and holds the highest ideals for existence. Celestial field: Accesses universal energies and serves as a template for the etheric fields. Causal field: Directs lower levels of existence.
Scientists have been investigating—and substantiating—the existence of the aura, the human energy field that surrounds our entire body, for over a hundred years, adding to the knowledge our ancestors already possessed. This field consists of multiple bands of energy called auric layers or auric fields, that encompass the subtle body, connecting us to the outside world.
The aura has been known by many names in many cultures. The Kabbalists called it an astral light. Christian artists depicted Jesus and other figures as surrounded by coronas of light. The Vedic scriptures and teachings of the Rosicrucians, Tibetan and Indian Buddhists, and many Native American tribes describe the human energy field in detail. Even Pythagoras discussed the field, which was perceived as a luminous body. In fact, John White and Stanley Krippner, authors of Future Science, list ninety-seven different cultures that reference the human aura, each culture calling it by a different name.
Science has been actively involved in penetrating the mystery of the aura since the early 1800s. During that time period, Belgian mystic and physician Jan Baptist van Helmont visualized it as a universal fluid that permeates everything. The idea of the aura acting like a fluid—or flowing—as well as being permeable has remained consistent throughout history. Franz Mesmer, for whom the term “mesmerism” was coined, suggested that both animate and inanimate objects were charged with a fluid, which he perceived as magnetic, through which material bodies could exert influence over each other, even at a distance. Baron Wilhelm von Reichenbach discovered several properties unique to this human energy field, which he called the odic force, and would later be ascribed to the subtle body.
He determined that it shared similar properties to the electromagnetic field, which had previously been investigated by James Clerk Maxwell, one of the fathers of electricity. The odic human energy field was composed of polarities or opposites, as is the electromagnetic field. In electromagnetism, however, opposites attract. Not so in the odic field, where like attracts like.
Reichenbach also found that the human energy field related to different colors and that it could not only carry a charge, but also flow around objects. He described the field on the left side of the body as a negative pole and the right side as a positive pole, similar to the ideas of Chinese medicine.
These and other theories have revealed the aura to have a fluid or flowing state; to be comprised of different colors, therefore frequencies; to be permeable and penetrable; and to be magnetic in nature, although it also has electromagnetic properties.
Other research has underscored these subtle body theories and expanded one additional element of the auric human energy field: its connection to the inner sanctum of the human being.
For example, in 1911 Dr. Walter Kilner examined the aura with colored filters and a special kind of coal tar. He discovered three zones: a dark layer next to the skin, a more ethereal layer flowing at a perpendicular angle to the body, and a delicate exterior with contours about six inches across. Most important, the conditions of this “aura,” as he called it, shifted in reaction to a subject’s state of mind and health. In the early part of the 1900s, Dr. Wilhelm Reich furthered our knowledge of the human energy field and its qualities through experiments studying a universal energy that he named “orgone.” During his studies, he observed energy pulsing in the sky and surrounding all animate and inanimate objects and beings. Many metaphysicians believe that orgone is equivalent to chi or prana. He also noticed that areas of congestion could be cleared to release negative mental and emotional patterns and thus affect change. This emphasized the connections between the subtle and the physical energies as well as emotional and mental energies.
Then in the 1930s, Dr. Lawrence Bendit and Phoebe Bendit observed the human energy field and linked it to soul development, showing that the subtle forces are the foundation of health. Their observations are mirrored and expanded by those of Dr. Dora Kunz, a theosophist and intuitive, who saw that every organ has its own field—as does the overall subtle body—which pulses with its own rhythm when healthy. When someone is ill, these rhythms alter, and problems can be intuitively seen in the field.
When Dr. Zheng Rongliang of Lanzhou University in China measured the flow of chi from a human body with a unique biological detector, he showed that not only does the aura pulse, but that not everyone’s human energy field pulses at the same rate or intensity. This study was repeated by researchers at the Shanghai Atomic Nuclear Institute of Academia Sinica.
Soviet scientists from the Bioinformation Institute, headed by A. S. Popow, actually measured the human energy field, or more specifically, the biocurrents manifested in the surrounding energy body. They discovered that living organisms emanate vibrations at a frequency between 300 and 2,000 nanometers. They called this field the “biofield” and discovered that people with a strong and widespread biofield can transfer energy more successfully. This research was later confirmed by the Medical Science Academy in Moscow.
A special form of photography is actually able to take pictures of the auric field. In the 1930s, Russian scientist Semyon Kirlian and his wife, Valentina, invented a new photographic process that involves directing a high-frequency electrical field at an object. The object’s pattern of luminescence—the auric human energy field—can then be captured on film. Contemporary practitioners are using Kirlian photography to show how the aura responds to different emotional and mental states, and even to diagnose illness and other problems. Medical science is now using a heat aura, as well as other imaging processes, to show the different aspects of the body’s electromagnetics.
One of the more compelling sets of studies in this area was conducted by Dr. Valerie Hunt. In A Study of Structural Neuromuscular, Energy Field, and Emotional Approaches, she recorded the frequency of low-millivoltage signals emanating from the body during Rolfing sessions. She made these recordings using electrodes of silver and silver chloride on the skin. Scientists then analyzed the wave patterns recorded with a Fourier analysis and a sonogram frequency analysis. The human energy field did, indeed, consist of a number of different color bands, which correlated to the chakras. The following results, taken from the February 1988 study, showed color-frequency correlations in hertz or cycles per second:
+ Blue 250–275 Hz plus 1,200 Hz
+ Green 250–475 Hz
+ Yellow 500–700 Hz
+ Orange 950–1050 Hz
+ Red 1,000–1,200 Hz
+ Violet 1,000–2,000, plus 300–400; 600–800 Hz
+ White 1,100–2,000 Hz
While mechanically measuring the subjects, healer and aura reader Reverend Rosalyn Bruyere provided her own input, separately recording the various colors she intuitively perceived. In all cases, her renderings were the same as those demonstrated mechanically. Hunt repeated this experiment with other psychics with the same results.
But What Is The Auric Field?
We know it exists—but what is the auric field? Scientists including James Oschman, author of Energy Medicine, consider it a biomagnetic field that surrounds the body. As Dr. Oschman says, “It is a fact of physics that energy fields are unbounded.” This means that our biomagnetic human energy fields extend indefinitely.
Modern equipment can now measure the heart’s fields—the strongest of those originating from an organ—up to fifteen feet away. As for the aura’s job, science has determined that this magnetic field conveys information about events taking place inside the body, rather than on the skin. Its purpose is therefore vitally linked to our internal health.
The biomagnetic human energy field is composed of information from each organ and every bodily tissue. The heart’s currents determine its shape, as the heart is the body’s strongest electrical producer. The primary electrical flow is therefore established by the circulatory system. As well, the nervous system interacts with the circulatory system and creates distinct flows, seen as whirling patterns, within the field.
We cannot fully understand the function of the aura without knowing what it is made of—and we’re still working on that. Barbara Ann Brennan summarizes scientific research to suggest that it is made of “plasma,” tiny—perhaps subatomic—particles that move in clouds. Scientists propose that plasmas exist in a state between energy and matter. Brennan says that this “bioplasma” is a fifth state of matter. Rudolf Steiner, a brilliant author and philosopher, suggested that the human energy field is made of ether, an element comparable to a negative mass, or a hollowed-out space. We can only surmise, but perhaps the field is actually made of both electromagnetic radiation (specifically magnetism) and an antimatter that allows a shift of energy between this world and others. Thus the propensity of healers to deliver healing energy based on intention is a matter of creating enough intensity in the “here and now” energies to access an equivalency in the antiworlds. What we accomplish within our own field can be delivered like an instant message on the Internet to another individual’s energy field.
Barbara Ann Brennan proposes seven basic layers of the auric field. These graduate from the body, linked with each of the seven basic chakras. The chakras also attune to different subtle bodies, which combine to compose three basic planes. These planes are accessible through the auric fields.
Brennan is also able to intuitively perceive two levels beyond the etheric, which she calls the cosmic plane. She associates these with the eighth and ninth chakras. The eighth appears fluid to her, while the ninth is composed of a crystalline template.
The Twelve-chakra System And The Auric Field
The twelve-chakra system furthers Brennan’s ideas about an eighth and ninth chakra, as well as higher human energy fields.
Auric fields are graduating layers of light that manage the energy outside of the body. Auric fields connect to the chakras, creating a symbiosis between what happens inside and outside of a person.
The Seven Rays
The Seven Rays are the seven attributes of God. As a system, the Seven Rays explains that our subtle human energy fields act as transformers to convert high vibrational energies into form—the physical body. Every body contains the energies of all the rays, just as every physical body has chakras, but our particular soul and personality rays determine our potentials for strengths and weaknesses. This also means that energies affecting an individual’s subtle bodies can result in mental, emotional, or physical illness to the physical body.
The concept of the rays originated in Vedic literature, where they are associated with the seven rishis, advanced masters who acted as agents of the absolute.
Each ray has a different color, symbol, chakra entry and exit point, occult energy, and symbology specific to its role. Radionic practitioners frequently use the Seven Rays to augment their diagnosis and treatment of patients following a spiritual path.
The Assemblage Point: Clustered Energy Lines
The assemblage point modality describes a cluster of human energy field lines or strings that penetrate the subtle body at a particular point. While they are not part of the physical body, they immediately surround it, passing through the chest and out of the back. Each string is about one centimeter in circumference or less. The strings closest to the body are strongest and most intense; those farther away diverge and their energetic power diffuses.
The assemblage point is a cluster of energy lines that connect to the body and surround it.
Practitioners report that the entry point is quite tender and between one-half and one centimeter in width. Research using infrared digital thermometers and image scanners shows that this point is about 0.2 degree centigrade lower than the surrounding skin.
There are several theories supporting the existence of the assemblage point.
Paraphrased, these center on the understanding that we are composed of an oscillating energy field with an epicenter: the assemblage point. The form of this human energy field is dependent upon the location and entry angle of this point, and in turn regulates someone’s biological and emotional state. However, the position of this point is determined by the biological activity inside the body. By working with this point, we can positively affect our health and lives.
Highly negative situations, such as rape or financial ruin, can shift the assemblage point into a detrimental position, thereby causing physical and emotional upheaval. Childhood trauma and drama can prevent the assemblage point from even settling in a healthy position; it seems the point settles into a specific point at about seven years of age. The various shifted positions—too far up or down, to the right or the left—adversely affect the entire system, especially the brain.
Practitioners often use stone crystals or electronic gem therapy to shift and shape the Assemblage Point.
Our exploration of human energy fields has included the measurable and the subtle, as well as the universal. The excursion has incorporated natural and artificially created fields, as well as various human varieties. We’ve discovered that every living organism, from small to great, emanates and is affected by fields of energy that, in large part, create the foundation for life itself.
This article on subtle energy fields is excerpted from The Subtle Body by Cyndi Dale via Awakened Vibrations.
Energy is the engine of action, substance of connection, and blueprint for existence for all of Creation. (“Smart glue that moves things”??) Even “Science” is now accepting that all of the Universe is made of energy (as in Einstein’s theory, E=mc2) and even “empty” space is really filled with energy. While no one really knows exactly what energy is, we can seek to understand it by observing it. If we are trying to do that only with electro-mechanical instruments or even just our five senses, we are missing too much of its nature.
One the one hand, energy is all power, cannot be created or destroyed, has always existed, and moves into form, through form, and out of form and can be in more than one place at a time. Nothing in the Universe happens without energy being involved. (Sounds like a description of, umm — God, doesn’t it?) It is also multi-dimensional, holographic, has consciousness and even “personality” of a sort, and seems to “remember”. All energy is vibrating, moving to and fro in a continuous repetitive cycle. The more cycles completed in one second, the higher the frequency. When its vibration slows down enough, energy becomes physical matter but vibration remains in the subatomic particles.
If you take the energy anatomy of water as an analogy:
Take energy away from water by cooling it and its vibration slows down until it becomes solid matter– ICE! If you add heat to ice, you speed up its vibration and it changes form back into liquid water. If you continue to add heat energy and increase the vibration of the water it will boil, turn into steam and disappear. But wait! If you put a glass of ice water nearby, the steam will give up energy and the water will condense and reappear on the outside of the glass. Rapidly vibrating steam is invisible to the naked eye and seems weightless. You can see both water and ice and feel their heaviness. You can push the dense matter of your hand right through steam or water but not a block of ice. As the vibration of matter becomes slower it becomes more physically solid. If its vibrational frequency increases, it becomes less and less dense until it becomes etheric.
The belief system called “Science” is also finally catching on to what Shamans and indigenous cultures around the world have always known– that all energy has Consciousness (awareness of being aware) or Spirit and comes from a single Source. Experiments with subatomic physics have shown that light and other energies react to Human consciousness and change their appearance or behavior as a result of its influence. Physical light behaves as a particle when we’re directly observing it and a wave when we’re not. It “knows” we’re looking at it and reacts to our attention!
We can also influence some of the energies of physical matter with our minds through focused intention and attention, like programming crystals for instance. This change may be harder to measure but Dr. Masaru Emoto has shown through his photographs of water crystals how our thoughts and emotions can affect water’s energy and influence it’s physical form. Some predict that we will one day be able to use the energy of our thoughts to co-create with the energy that determines the physical structure of matter and create real physical objects just by thinking about them. Yogi Sai Baba has been reported to have materialized dusty “sacred ash”, jewelry and other small objects by focused thought alone.
The more subtle Spiritual, Healing, Inter-dimensional, and Life Force energies have a higher (faster) vibration and require a shift of our learned and habitual perception for us to sense, register, and interpret. Sometimes referred to collectively as “Light” (with a capital ‘L’— the higher dimensional Spiritual consciousness energy within visible light), they are much finer and higher in frequency than the more material light, heat, sound, etc. It is harder for us to perceive high-vibrational energies because of our own relatively low-vibrational perception. We’ve evolved to be more adept at perceiving matter and slower energies than pure high vibration.
There is a hierarchy of vibration in the Universe. The highest, fastest vibration is Love or God/Source– that which divided itself into all of Creation. If we were to experience the full high vibration of The Creator it would literally overload our molecular and Spiritual circuits and blow us apart. The Creator insures that Source energy is slowed down one step at a time to a frequency that our physical plane metabolism can withstand. It’s part of the job of Spirit and Nature Beings to make higher energies usable for Humanity and our chakras (subtle energy centers in our body) do this for us on the individual level. We can attune and prepare our minds and bodies to function as high-volume conduits or conductors for these extremely healing and restorative energies by training as Energy Healers. You can also use objects like crystals, pendulums to bring through these frequencies.
Here’s what the energy frequency hierarchy looks like. At the Top are Spiritual Energies:
Love/God/Source is the highest vibration in the Universe.
Love slowed down yields thought:
Thought slowed down yields feelings:
Feelings slowed down yields magnetism:
Now come the Physical Energies:
Magnetism is the fastest vibration of physical energy.
Surfers of the Zuvuya was written in the 80’s and explains who the mysterious Maya really were. This short book is by José Argüelles, (the artist/philosopher who inspired our film) and is about his higher self, his “dimensional double,” Uncle Joe Zuvuya. They journey from the center of the earth to the outermost reaches of the galaxy. Uncle Joe instructs Argüelles in Mayan etheric engineering, Arcturian space stations, Atlantean family histories, and much more.
Surfers of the Zuvuya is educational “science faction”. Movies likes Black Panther accomplish this on several levels by embedding ancient technology and culture into an epic story. Surfers of the Zuvuya makes galactic history fun. For folks who are scared of ET contact or the greater reality in the universe, the style and tone of this book is very palatable. As I’m reading this book, I’m getting this message; maintain this kind of tone in your movies. If we maintain this kid of sense of humor perhaps people won’t label the films as “new age” (it’s actually ancient knowledge) or too experimental.
Jose also wrote this book after Harmonic Convergence, the first synchronized global peace meditation. His son had also recently been killed in a car accident. For a human being to write something so playful after going through the highest highs and lowest lows is an incredible accomplishment.
And for everyone involved in this movement, there really seems to be little time for jokes because it simply isn’t funny – the dire need for the human race to deprogram in order to evolve. Laughter is the best medicine (at least for the human race) and being playful can help face our dark sides. Perhaps that why the dark comedy genre has become more popular over the years.
In regards to my art (music and film) – this has always been my greatest challenge. For this second film, can we expand on an unusual format by adding humor so we can reach a much larger audience? One of our goals for this film is to document the other side of the story. For example, we have been in search of a well-spoken funnyish Atheist to put in the movie. Can Atheists be funny? Well, if you happen to know one, please send them our way! And in regards to my first screenplay which I’ve been working on for 4 years now – if you were to read it you might describe it as a dark-comedy-esoteric-love -science faction.
So check out this book! It’s one wild ride! And on a more serious note, continue on the journey below…
No one can grasp the changes that are coming so quickly to our lives and Planet.
All that the higher galactic intelligences have wished for humanity to learn on a planetary scale is this: the only way to break the cycle of fear and destruction to which you have made yourselves hostage is by creating a complete planetary field of trust.
Thirty-one years ago on August 16-17, 1987 (Kin 55-56), Jose Arguelles spearheaded the Harmonic Convergence, the first synchronized global peace meditation with the purpose of synergizing the Highest Collective Intention of Humanity.
He envisioned that the synchronized intention of a human collective would create a signal more powerful than the atomic signal at Los Alamos in 1945.
This date was also the conclusion of a 1144 year Ancient Mayan prophecy of the 13 heavens and 9 hells. Arguelles put out a call for 144,000 people to meditate simultaneously at sacred sites around the world to establish a planetary receptacle to activate a new harmonic grid.
The testing and release of atomic radiation into the atmosphere of Earth on July 16, 1945, Kin 34, set up a signal which drew the immediate attention of the higher galactic intelligences.
He foresaw that with enough humans synchronized with peaceful intentions, the benevolent galactic intelligences could then stream communication through high frequency beams to catalyze the mental field of the planet and set up a new harmonic grid.
This would activate a new planetary field of trust and initate the passage from competitive conflict to a time of collaborative cooperation. He envisioned this moment to be the first step toward transitioning civilization from a military state of terrror to a “de-industrialized, decentralized, post-military planetary society.”
In this vision all governmental and political structures would be replaced by vast numbers of bioregional local cells. He layed out plans for the dismantling of nuclear plants and all related armaments industries and technologies as well as the deployment of new technologies and worker reeducation programs.
He envisioned that by 2013, galactic synchronization, humanity would have evolved into beings possessing a brilliantly simple yet sophisticated technology based on the matching of solar and psychic frequencies.
At this stage, the planetary grid would be operating on non-polluting technology, and with the “majority of humans living comfortably in small bioregional groups, strung together as information nodes on a communications system finally free of wires.”
He envisioned the transformation of technology, through the recognition that our own bodies (activated to their full bio-electromagnetic capacity) are the best and most sophisticated technology there is. He put forth that the Human Body, once awakened and properly activated, is the path beyond technology and the meaning of the Galactic Mayan return.
All of his subsequent work had as its purpose the harmonic realignment of human, planet and cosmos, as well as practices and codes to turn on our forgotten technology via Galactic Mayan Time Science with its simplest daily application of the 13 Moon calendar.
“The meaning of the return of humanity as a planetary being bound by one common timing standard, the natural universal frequency of synchronization, is that the human mind and spirit will again become attuned to a perception of harmony and oneness with Nature.” –Jose Arguelles/Valum Votan
31 Years Later: 1987 – 2018
Thirty one years later and the world is vastly different than this vision. Technology has been weaponized through cyber warfare. Transhumanism and the hybrid age is rapidly advancing in the technological war against humanity. Even language is weaponized these days.
There is a vast gulf between our civilization and the recognition of earth as a total living system.
The collective did not enter the harmonic timeline. Yet there are still groups and inviduals evolving in the new frequency and strengthening the harmonic grid. We send infinite gratitude to these beings from every tradition, for it is their light that allows others to see in the dark.
We are now in a final battle of the war of souls. Everything appears inside out and upside down. A Great Uncertainty pervades. No one is exempt from the fluctuating waves now bombarding our Planet.
Misunderstandings and aggression are rife. People are suspicious of each other. Depression and substance abuse is skyrocketing. Suicides are on the rise.
We are living in not just a polarized world but a multi-polarized world. Multiple forces, both on and off planet, compete simultaneously to influence the human mind. Some seek to enslave and dominate, while others seek to empower and liberate.
The primary mode of enslavement is through division and distraction. With so much information at our fingertips, people are losing their ability to introspect.
Our job is to stay awake, keep and open heart and not become hypnotized. Those with the most illusions and attachments suffer the most. Much compassion is required. Stay open to update your perception as new knowledge is revealed.
All the veils are now being opened. Many cannot handle it and so split off into “comfortable” realms of the Unreality of their choosing. Every day, it seems, there are more versions of reality to choose from as the fragmentation is now quantum.
But there is only one Path that gives Life. That Path is the Reconnection to Primal Source by whatever name you call it.
We can experience this reconnection by focalizing our mind into its Unoriginated Condition, while at the same time maintaining Omnipresent Consciousness, i.e. “Be still and know I am GOD.”
Once we reach this Center point we can feel the New Living Cycle that exists on its parallel track of which many are attuned to. But this Cycle, or new paradigm, cannot come into full Regenerative Focus until we, as a collective move out of the Past vibratory entanglements into the Present fractal-free waveform.
This requires an ever deepening purification of mind and heart, with the willingness to let go of preconceptions and face the possibility that Reality may not be anything like what we thought. The Harmonic Convergence is still happening and will continue to happen until everything is brought back to at-one-ment.
Those who are truly attuned to the Harmonic Convergence cannot be so if they are in judgement even against the fundamentalists. The point is the expression of universal compassion, forgiveness, and unconditional love for all of life. Those who are without sin shall cast the first stone. Sin may be understood to mean, that which interferes with another’s free will. Harmonic Convergence is the exercise of the common free will on behalf of all.–Jose Arguelles/Valum Votan
If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation. –Lao Tzu
A lot of folks work long and hard to make Indigenous Peoples’ Day happen every year.
Some people don’t agree, (The Federalist, 10/9/2017). According to them, Native American tribes were savages who only did savage things to one another and to the white settlers. “Hardly worth celebrating,” they say.
Could we back off the white supremacy stance for just one day? Even ignoring the obvious point about white human savagery around the globe, (aka multinational corporations all mostly ran by white men), the challenge here is to get folks to be open to a shift in cultural perspective.
Try this: Columbus didn’t discover America, he discovered a place Italians were ignorant about, a place where indigenous people had been living for thousands of years. He also enslaved and tortured the natives as most colonists did. Captain Cook didn’t discover Hawaii or Australia or Newfoundland. He discovered places the British people had not known about, places that had had indigenous populations for centuries.
Sorry, politicians, but you don’t get to decide what becomes of this day or wether or not it should be a national holiday replacing Columbus Day. Indigenous People get to say, totally without your input, what they want/need to make of this day, and what they want the rest of us to make of this day.
The possibilities are profound and inexhaustible. Having this one day of the year to celebrate indigenous people is like having one Women’s Day or one Civil Rights Day a year. Honing the focus is a preposterous task. It could be:
A celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ language, art, music, literature, culture.
A forum on reforming school curriculum vis a vis the indigenous population
A day of historical and cultural awareness activities – Polynesian, Alaskan, Native American
A day of political action groups, preparing a nation-wide agenda for social justice, environmental justice and political participation
A day of honoring the ancestors with storytelling and ceremonies
A day of fund raising – to address urgent causes, such as the missing and feared dead indigenous women, the need for teen activity centers or solar installations
It could be all or none of the above. It will be what indigenous people want it to be. Let’s take our cues from the ancestors, grandmothers, teachers, activists and civic leaders. Let’s not presume to know what it should be.
If white people want to have input on what Indigenous Peoples’ Day should focus on, let’s start with an examination of our contributions to the marginalization of indigenous people. Let’s have the courage to delve into topics like white fragility and white supremacy.
We could spend the day learning about the history of white colonization from other than a white perspective. Let’s learn all we can about modern-day colonization issues in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Guam by talking to the people who have called those places home for generations. How do native Hawaiians and Alaskans feel today about statehood?
We can become more informed about today’s indigenous rights issues. On Indigenous People’s Day every year, let’s develop a new appreciation for the contributions of indigenous people to the story of America.
