Time is Art is a documentary series that follow the journey of the artist. In the first film, Time is Art: Synchronicity & the Collective Dream, Jennifer is a writer who is compelled to make sense of the mysterious and powerful energy she felt at her aunt’s deathbed. Considering herself a skeptic, a series of strange coincidences leads her on an exploration of synchronicity – the concept that everything is interconnected and that time is not so much a chronology as it is an infinite cycle.
The forthcoming second film, Time is Art: The Frequency of Love, is centered around the power of music as a tool to uplift, motivate and wake people up. Artist and lyricist, Omboy Rome is our mirror to guide us through the process of self-transformation.
We recently launched a patreon in order to fundraise and continue creating content for truth seekers so please become a patron and support this inspiring film for as little as $1 per month!
After many years of filming and envisioning the second film, we cut together a short promo to excite the artist inside of you.
More about the sequel….
Riding the wave of excitement, screenings around the world and an overwhelmingly positive response to the first film with Jennifer Palmer aka @True, we have starting working on, wait for it… another film. We just couldn’t stop with one Time is Art film, so down the rabbit whole we go.
The second film in the series follows self-proclaimed chrononaut, rapper & lyricist, Omboy Rॐ aka Rommel Din-Chong. Omboy is a steward of the Earth, believes that food is medicine and sound healing is the key to living a balanced, high vibrational lifestyle. Like the other radical beings he converses with in the film, his family and society at large have trouble understanding his way of life. Through Omboy’s inspiring rhymes and poetics, powerful NYC & Philly street art, epic scenes in nature, as well as compelling conversations with teachers, artists and activists, the viewer explores the underlying premise of the film: perhaps we can tap into a way of being that is not ruled by a finite sense of time, but rather by the ability to live in harmony with the true creative nature of our existence.
Human beings are constantly searching for their life’s purpose. Artists in particular, are natural explorers of life’s deep philosophical questions. Like the first film, this series focuses on an artist’s self-transformation process. The artist needs to be reborn in order to change this dying world. Most artists experience a massive spiritual epiphany at least once in their lives which is a very private process. The artists featured in this documentary series are willing to explore taboo subjects and answer questions essential to understanding why the world is so upside down. They explore why spirituality is an essential part of becoming a loving and caring human being and why we must evolve in order to do the work necessary to put an end to old paradigms; the never-ending wars, environmental destruction, the lack of healthy food and clean water (basic human rights), racism, sexism, inequality, human trafficking and the list goes on and on. Time is Art is ultimately the story of an artist’s search for inspiration in a money-driven society that does not value creativity, and of the human search for meaning in a seemingly meaningless world. This film takes an experimental approach that allows us to experience a reality that is less concerned with linear storytelling, and more open to the cyclical patterns of nature, the hidden meanings of symbols, and the dreamlike overlapping of people, places, and moments.
